  One of the cozier Starbucks: with a long bench, a nook in the sun, a back hall and a patio (facing traffic sadly) plus warm people that work there. No drivethrough is a plus for me, adding to the calm.

  A couple things:
  
  a) Stop putting obstructions in the way.
  
  I know you have a small store, but putting snack racks or advertising in the way of people in line is frustrating when if pushes the line out to block the exit path from way at the back of the store. Putting the big magnetic sign holders in the drink pick up area is also dumb. I turned around and knocked it with my elbow, sending the board to the ground. Embarrassing for me and it's just plain in the way! The funny thing about the actual board, it was just product knowledge, not even announcing a new product or anything.
  
  b) Stop pouring coffee from a pot not fully brewed!
  
  This give the first person a very strong cup and the last person gets dishwater. I've complained online to the corporate website also about this (not just your store, many of them) I know you are just trying to serve the customer faster and reduce wait. How about managing your brewed coffee inventory better?? I mean, really, you're a coffee shop. Being out of coffee seems to be a little bit of a basic thing, don't you think?
  
  c) Your staff is great. I mean that, really. Other than the above (which is totally a management/training thing), they do a good job. Friendly, attentive, etc.
