  Their donair sandwiches are larger than I can handle, unreasonably so, I might add. The meat doesn't really taste good, and the sweet sauce is absolutely hideous, I'm sorry. The sandwich is overloaded with meat, sauce, and onions, and as a result, the whole thing ends up being a greasy, sloppy mess that's borderline inedible. You can't expect a sandwich to remain intact when you overload a small pita with stuff. It's one thing to be generous, but this is a little too much. Hugely disappointing.

  Love it here. Nice authentic Halifax Donaire that are very filling, as well as other delicious food. Recommend trying the Donaire pizza!

  Just had another fantastic donair. Love the taste of the sauce. My better half had a poutine, from here for the first time,and loved it. (I was worried, dont tell her, but she's fussy). I just saw the review that said the sauce was too sweet and all I could think was...you forgot to say "in my opinion". With7+ billion people on the planet, you can't please everyone, but with all the glowing reviews of this place, makes me look at the reviewer a bit differently. The staff are genuinely nice people, too.

  First time, last time. The place was clean, and the staff nice, the meat was "good", the fries average BUT the sweet sauce that was all over our food was waaaay tooooo sweet, like a cheap dessert sweet, a diabetic's nightmare (not diabetic thank God). They should let people know that they smother it with sauce. We had a sample but the sauce amount was small but what came with the dinner was like a poutine gravy amount. :(
  Not for my husband, nor me. So sorry, but for us, very true experience.
  Will not be going again, sorry :/
