  I've never had a bad experience at the Appleby location or any other one. The ice cream is typical, standard DQ which seems to get smaller as the price goes up by the head office year by year!? Lol...
  
  Try the food like burgers, chicken fingers, etc. Best bang for the buck without a doubt and much better than the place across the street with the golden arches!! ;)

  I don't think this place could be better. Great food, Friendly staff, and lots of choices. It's also never that busy. I highly recommend the chicken strips.

  Really busy on the day I was there, a Sunday afternoon.
  The staff seemed a bit disoriented but probably because it was so busy.
  Dairy Queen food is just that. One goes for the treats understanding they will result in intestinal challenges, but we love it nonetheless.
  This particular location was clean and I have no specific complaints.
  Reese Blizzard was "meh".

  I went into the Appleby and Fairview DQ location to pick up a cake for my son's birthday. Of course, it was last minute. I checked the freezer and found an appropriate cake, and brought it to the counter. I asked that they print my son's name ALEXANDER on the cake and pick a colour used in the Happy Birthday letters already on the cake, so that it didn't look like I had actually done this last minute!! Not only was the service friendly, but they took the time to make it look custom made by printing his name in black and then alternating icing colours in the SAME WAY as the Happy Birthday letters!! It looked awesome and it looked custom and my son loved his birthday cake! Thanks to the staff who took some time to make a mom feel like her boy mattered!! You guys rock and I will come back to your location again and again!! :)
